• Learning Objectives The objective of the workshop is to equip participants with practical tools for predicting hydrocarbon volumes and mitigating risks before drilling, and also with the skills to analyse fault flow and reservoir connectivity. The course includes practical methods and case studies, allowing participants to apply their skills to real prospects and adjust risks as new skills are acquired
  • Workshop Benefits:
    • Focus on case studies from deltaic systems and deep-water fold belts, with a range of open-file Nigerian case studies
    • Develop practical skills through hands-on exercises and real-world case studies
    • Understand fault seal analysis in the Exploration and Production phases
    • Engage in interactive exercises and group activities during the face-to-face training, enhancing your learning experience
  • Duration: 5 days
  • Software Used: None
  • Mode of training: Onsite, virtual or hybrid
  • Course Format: Instructor-led and workflow-based
  • Who should attend: Petroleum Engineers, Structural Geologists, Reservoir Engineers, Geoscientists, Asset Managers, and Exploration Managers

Fault Seal Analysis Workshop

This workshop is a great opportunity for Petroleum Engineers, Structural Geologists, Reservoir Engineers, Geoscientists, Asset Managers, and Exploration Managers looking to understand how hydrocarbons are trapped. The participants will use a wide range of hands-on exercises to hone their skills. The skills will be used to play with a broad set of real-world case studies. Participants will finish with sound structural geologic thinking but, most notably, an appreciation for stratigraphic trapping.
